Oh, Toodles!  It's Mickey Mouse Day!  Today we celebrate all things, Mickey.  But, what I'm so impressed with, is even after all of these years, Mickey Mouse is still all about learning.

Mickey Mouse was the creation of Walt Disney and first appeared in the film 'Steamboat Willie' on this day in 1928.  From then on, this day has been celebrated as Mickey Mouse's Birthday.  Happy, Happy Day!

When my kids were little, they loved the Mouse!  We watched movies, and Cartoons every Saturday morning.  Now, he's so much more, with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and teaching kids basic skills, like colors, counting, and problem-solving skills, plus, he brings his friends all along for the fun.

A couple of years ago, I was excited that I was able to introduce my Granddaughter McKayla to Mickey Mouse in a whole other way; at Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida.  She and her best friend Selena took on the park and even got some pictures of the Mouse of the Hour.
