How I Spent My Thanksgiving Morning – Helping the Lawton Food Bank

Today I got to participate in my second 5K event, Comanche County Memorial Hospital's 2nd Annual Gobble Wobble. 

This is a free event, but CCMH asked for donations of food for the Lawton Food Bank as your entry fee.  My goal for these events is to finish.  And, possibly to beat my personal time from the last event.  I got lucky and finished a full 4 minutes ahead of the Spirit of Survival 5K.  But the real winners were the Lawton Food Bank as they collected an entire truckload of food from the more than a thousand runners and walkers.  Congratulations on a great event!
