I was out of town when my Morning Crew partner Critter and Lunchbox Kelso got to tour the brand new building of Chick-fil-A on Cache Road last August.  I was pretty bummed, because Critter even got to use the slide in the all new play area!

Fast forward a year, and FINALLY we are able to actually dine in the brand new dining room! Yes, that's right, very quietly, Chick-fil-A has allowed their guests to dine-in, just in time for their one year Anniversary Celebration!  You do still have to order on the mobile app (much line the Central Mall location), but you can pick it up at eat in their beautiful new location.  We have been waiting so long for this.  They hope to have registers ready in time for the Anniversary Celebration in just a little over a week, on Friday, August 6, kicking off with a live broadcast featuring KLAW 101's Morning Crew, Jeri and Critter.

Owner/Operator Jonathan Pickett says, "We are really looking forward to having a lot of fun and really saying thank you to the community for their support."

Here's a taste of what you can expect during the celebration:

Give-a-ways:
  • They will be giving different food items away throughout the day
  • Going to have a way for an individual or two to win free CFA for a year
  • Going to be giving away mini cows
Special Events
  • 9:00-11:00 - KLAW Remote with Jeri & Critter
  • 11:00 - Drive Thru Record challenge - we want to set a new record of 200 cars through the drive thru during the 11:00 hour

LOOK: Here Are 30 Foods That Are Poisonous to Dogs

To prepare yourself for a potential incident, always keep your vet's phone number handy, along with an after-hours clinic you can call in an emergency. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center also has a hotline you can call at (888) 426-4435 for advice.

Even with all of these resources, however, the best cure for food poisoning is preventing it in the first place. To give you an idea of what human foods can be dangerous, Stacker has put together a slideshow of 30 common foods to avoid. Take a look to see if there are any that surprise you.
