Halloween is almost here, and while the kids are getting ready to collect candy for mom and dad to steal from them, Sonic Drive-In has a little treat for the rest of us.

Sonic is bringing back its popular 50-cent corn dog promotion on Saturday, October 31st!

That's right. Fifty cents for a corn dog.

At a time when you can barely buy a stick of gum for that price, this is a pretty sweet deal.

Sonic's Halloween Corn Dog Deal Returns

Participating Sonic Drive-In locations will offer corn dogs for just 50 cents each on Halloween.

The deal will be available throughout the day during regular business hours.

And here's the best part: You don't have to dress up like a hot dog, a vampire or anything else to get the discount.

There's no costume requirement, coupon or promotional code necessary.

There's also no stated purchase limit, meaning you could theoretically buy enough corn dogs to feed the entire neighborhood.

Although I'd recommend checking with your neighborhood Sonic before attempting that.

A Halloween Tradition Worth Keeping

Sonic has offered Halloween corn dog specials dating back to 2012.

And frankly, I appreciate a Halloween tradition that doesn't involve spending $80 on decorations or having somebody jump out of a haunted house with a chainsaw.

So, if you're out trick-or-treating in Lubbock Saturday, you might want to swing by Sonic.

Because nothing says Halloween quite like a bucket of candy and a bag of discounted corn dogs. Don't forget the mustard!

You can verify the deal through the official Sonic website or Sonic app.
