Get Ready for Dancin’ in the Dirt with Clay Walker at the Amarillo Tri-State Fair
It's that time of year for food, fun, rides, ribbons and music. The Amarillo Tri-State Fair is back. It's 14 fun-filled days.
The Amarillo Tri-State Fair has been a tradition for over a century and that tradition continues. One of the great things about the Tri-State Fair is the music. This year the Tri-State Fair is bringing back a legend.
Clay Walker
Clay Walker has had a love of music since he was a kid. His father gave him a guitar when he was 9 and the rest is history. When Clay was in high school he dropped a demo off to a local radio station, and the DJ gave him a chance and played it, "it was too good to pass up." Clay began playing clubs and touring at the age of 19. He secured a spot as the house musician at the Neon Armadillo in Beaumont, Texas. It wasn't long after he was discovered in 1992 and released his first single in 1993.
Soon his second number one followed
In 1994, Walker released his second album If I Could Make A Living, which included the title track, This Woman and This Man, My Heart Will Never Know.
