See Justin Moore’s ‘Live From Phoenix’ Performance of ‘Somebody Else Will’ for AT&T Audience Network [Premiere]
Justin Moore's got a new concert special coming to AT&T Audience Network, and he's sharing his performance of "Somebody Else Will" with fans in advance.
Moore taped Justin Moore: Live From Phoenix during his set at the AT&T Block Party in Phoenix at 2017's NCAA March Madness Music Festival. He says the special occasion made the fans especially pumped up.
"They don't call it that for no reason," he observes of March Madness. "I'm a big sports fan, so the opportunity to do anything with any sport — but in particular the Final Four — is really cool."
Moore is sharing his performance of his current Top 20 hit, "Somebody Else Will," exclusively via Taste of Country. The second single from his Kinda Don't Care album is a departure from the Stones-y swagger of its lead track, "You Look Like I Need a Drink," which reached No. 1. "Somebody Else Will" is by far the most progressive track Moore has yet released to country radio, and he admitted a degree of nervousness about how his traditional-minded fans would react to some of the more modern elements prior to the album's release.
He says he feels vindicated by the success it's seeing so far.
"It's been fun to see fans react to it positively, as opposed to the opposite — you know, going, 'What the hell's he doing?'" Moore tells us with a laugh. "When you look at this song in particular and you add it to my body of work as an artist, I think it's really cool to have — not only in the show, but in my catalog — something that's a little different. I think it adds to what we've done in the past, and it shows a little bit of a different side of me. Vocally it's a little bit different for me and shows off a little more range. So it's been a lot of fun, and I'm really happy that the fans are digging it."
Take a look at Moore's performance in the video above.
