Lawton Public Schools To Provide Free Meals This Summer to Children and Students

Summer has officially started in Oklahoma! School is out in Lawton, Oklahoma, and summer fun can finally begin. But one thing that can be hard for families in the summer is providing meals for their kids. Luckily, Lawton Public Schools has a way to help families with meals through the district's Summer Meal Program.

The Summer Meal Program through Lawton Public Schools is set to begin June 2 and will provide free breakfast and lunch for children 18 and younger. The Summer Meal Program is free and open to any child 18 and younger, even if they're not enrolled in Lawton Public Schools. Those currently enrolled in Lawton Public Schools can still take advantage of the free meals.

There is no fee or registration required to obtain free meals during the district's Summer Meal Program. Meals will be provided throughout the summer and various schools and other locations. The Summer Meal Program will be available June 2-26 and June 30 through July 24. There will be no service on June 19 or July 4. Meals will be available Monday-Thursday each week, except three sites will also offer meals on Fridays.
