Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley and his wife Cassie will celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary in July of 2019, and in a recent podcast interview, Cassie reflected on that noteworthy accomplishment, saying it's never as easy as it seems.

“Sometimes the secret to a long marriage is just waking up and saying, ‘I’ll give it one more day,’” Cassie says in an appearance on Get Real With Caroline Hobby, quoting a piece of advice often given by famed Christian author Beth Moore. “Even in the hard, hard times when it would just be so much easier not to hang on, you say, ‘I’m going to give it one more day.’”

Indeed, amongst the joys of a successful career and thriving family life, Charles and Cassie have had to face their share of challenges, including a battle with infertility. But through it all, they have remained strong in both their faith and each other.

“We haven’t been perfect to each other,” Cassie says. “We just never give up, and that is a gift that we get to have now in having a 10-year marriage and hopefully a for-as-many-years-as-we-are-on-this-planet marriage.”

Lady Antebellum recently launched their first-ever Las Vegas residency, which began on Feb. 8 at the Palms Casino Resort’s Pearl Concert Theater and includes dates in May and August. But when Charles is at home, the couple take time to reconnect and bask in the simple moments of life.

“We like to sit out on the patio and listen to music and have a glass of wine and just talk,” Cassie shares.
