With cold snaps and storms rushing through many parts of the country post-Thanksgiving, the universal dream of a white Christmas is a safe bet to come true for many. But the endearing standard "White Christmas" by Irving Berlin will still be sung this season, with perhaps one of the most charming versions given by Lady Antebellum at the CMA Country Christmas special that aired Tuesday (Dec. 3) on ABC.

The song started out with Lady A's Hillary Scott, dressed festively in a close-fitting cranberry velvet jumpsuit, introducing the tune's initial stanza, lending a casual and swinging feel to the beloved classic. Charles Kelley, also upholding the holiday feels with his white jacket and green shirt, traded off verses, while Dave Haywood played guitar and offered up backing vocals.

Lady Antebellum also performed a new song from their Ocean album, "On a Night Like This," as well as the adored hymn "Silent Night." The trio were also part of a massive collaboration on "Feliz Navidad" at the end of the show.

This year's CMA Country Christmas special was filmed back in September at Belmont University's Curb Event Center in Nashville. In the past, artists such as Brad Paisley, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire and others have performed as part of the program.
