Fall Open Streets Is Returning to Lawton, Oklahoma
One the best events for families in Lawton, Oklahoma, is Open Streets! And the fall Open Streets event is set for Saturday, Oct. 19 in downtown Lawton. Open Streets is day where downtown Lawton is closed off and the street is filled with games, activities, vendors, food trucks and much more.
Open Streets is a free event and offers an opportunity for people to replace car traffic and come together to improve their health. It offers citizens the opportunity to experience their local streets in a whole new way!
Lawton's Open Streets event is hosted by a coalition of local businesses and organizations, including City National Bank, BancFirst, TSET, Comanche County Health Department, Fit Kids of Southwest Oklahoma, Comanche County Memorial Hospital and the City of Lawton.

Lawton's Open Streets closes down a few blocks on C Avenue in downtown Lawton. The streets a lined with vendors hosting various free activities and games for the whole family. There's also local vendors and food trucks available.

If you or your business/organization would like to be a part of Lawton's Open Streets, vendor opportunities are currently available! The vendor application is currently open and closes Oct. 11. The coalition is seeking vendors, food trucks and volunteers!
