Mark Your Calendars For The Lawton Public Library’s Spring Book Sale
One of my favorite book sales recently announced its dates for 2023! The Friends of the Lawton Public Library will host its Spring Book Sale March 30 through April 2 at Central Plaza in downtown Lawton, Oklahoma.
As y'all know, I'm an avid book reader! And my New Year's resolution is to read at least one book a month. We're only in February, but I'm still sticking to my resolution! I recently went to Booklahoma in Pryor, Oklahoma, which is considered the biggest book sale in Oklahoma. And I came home with a TON of books! But, of course, I need more. And I love that the Friends of the Lawton Public Library annual book sale supports our local public library.
Here's a look at some of the books that were just at last year's book sale. The book sale takes over several empty storefronts in Central Plaza!
So many different kinds of books and varying genres!
If you're looking for kid's books, rare/collectables, history, sci-fi, cooking, or westerns, the Friends of the Lawton Public Library Spring Book Sale will have it! Books usually cost anywhere from 25 cents to $2. And all proceeds will go to benefit the Lawton Public Library!
This year's book sale will once again take place at Central Plaza (formerly Central Mall) in downtown Lawton. Below are the days and hours of this year's book sale:
- 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 30
- 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, March 31
- 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 1
- Noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 2
