The funeral for Firefighter April Partridge will be held today (3-29-2022) at McMahon Memorial Auditorium. The service may be viewed by following the live stream link at or by visiting the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Facebook page.
April L. Partridge, 55, Apache, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, while battling a grassfire near Edgewater Park, north of Lawton.

April is survived by her six children: Albert, Schuyler, Bryan, Michael, Zack, and Heli; six grandchildren: Glen, Collan, Annabella, Freya, Isabella, Madison, and other family members and friends.

One of her greatest accomplishments was her volunteer work as a firefighter for over 20 years. April served as the chief of the fire department while she lived in New Mexico in her early years. She joined the Edgewater Park Volunteer Fire Department this year when she settled back home.

Memorial contributions may be made to April’s Angels or donations may be made to your local volunteer fire department in April’s name.

Most of Elmer Thomas Park will be utilized from 8am until 2pm for this event.
Traffic will be congested on NW Ferris Ave from NW 2nd St to NW Fort Sill Blvd.
The funeral procession will be exiting Elmer Thomas Park at NW Cache Rd and will proceed to I-44.

Volunteer Firefighters are a rare breed.  They go about their lives like the rest of us, but then they train, certify, and save lives.  It's not a second job, it's who they are. April saved lives last week.

Patience and understanding are greatly appreciated for any inconvenience caused by this matter. Our Condolences to the Family of April Partridge.
