Remember When Jack Ingram Starred in Lee Ann Womack’s Music Video?
She has got one of country music's most beautiful and iconic voices, he was, at the time, unknown outside of Texas. It was 13 years-ago today that Jack Ingram played Lee Ann Womack's love interest in the music video for her hit "I May Hate Myself in the Morning."
The song and video landed the Jacksonville-native several CMA and ACM nominations in the Best Single, Song, and Video categories.
What a great break this was for this guy! I got a call from Trey Fanjoy during soundcheck at a bar called Gordo’s in San Marcos, Texas asking if I could 2-Step and if I could, would I want to do just that with LeeAnn Womack in her video for her new single?! I just hung up the phone and started walking to the Ft. Worth Stockyards
