At a probation hearing today, a judge ordered Lindsay Lohan back to jail with $100,000 bail, for continuous probation violations.

Lohan arrived at court this morning to update Judge Sautner on her compliance to the terms and conditions of her probation. Sautner then revoked Lohan’s probation, citing her bad behavior and lack of hours served.

Lohan has only logged 21 of her required 360 probationary community service hours since her conviction. To date, she has missed 9 appointments at the Downtown Women’s Shelter. She has also logged no time at the morgue, where she was required to complete 120 hours of community service.

“I thought she could be of value to downtown women’s center but obviously not,” said Judge Sautner.

If the actress posts bail, she will be required to complete a minimum of 16 hours of service at the county coroner’s office before a November 2 hearing to determine whether or not she has violated her probation and should return to jail for an extended sentence.

Lohan’s attorney Shawn Holley defended her, telling the judge she “had to earn a living to support herself and her family” and that her opportunities are in Europe.

Sautner admitted that jail is not an appropriate place for Lohan, since that is where the state sends felons, but told her, “Probation is a gift, not a right.”
