Loretta Lynn Cancels All 2017 Tour Dates
Loretta Lynn has canceled all tour dates as she continues to recover from a stroke she suffered in May. The singer also postponed her upcoming album release.
While she touched on the album's postponement in a message to fans on Facebook, the tour cancelation was only recently made public. Since the May 4 event Lynn has been simply postponing shows in piece-meal fashion. Despite the sour news, she remains upbeat about her recovery.
"I want to thank everyone for hanging in there with me," Lynn said on July 12. "I am getting stronger every day and can’t wait to get back out there with all of you. I’m just letting everybody know that Willie ain’t dead yet and neither am I, and I can’t wait to see all of you on the road!"

Doctors predicted a full recovery for Lynn after her stroke. She moved to a rehab facility in the weeks following. Her brother recently shared that Lynn has been getting a lot better.
“She can talk, and Loretta told me that she thought she’s going to be okay,” Herman Webb tells Closer Weekly. “Her left side was kind of paralyzed, but [she can get around by] herself now, she just has to use a walker.”
Lynn's "Wouldn't It Be Great" album was slated for August, but she says that due to the project's personal nature, she's chosen to hold off on releasing it.
