Let's face it, all of us really thought that the idea of staying/working from home was appealing.  No more going into the office.  Meeting on Zoom. Yeah, that's the life.

Unfortunately, sadly, it was and is really more than that. Unless, you are extremely organized, and a juggling expert, the separation of work and home and school is really taxing on the mind and body.

It's so important that we don't let the circumstances of the Coronavirus Pandemic get us totally out of wack.  We need to be sure to cut out some time for ourselves and practice self care.

Self care is easier said than done with all hairdressers, tattoo shops, nail shops all closed during the bulk of working remotely, but now thankfully, they are re-opening and making us at least look beautiful.

What other ways can we just get through this pandemic?

  • Take a walk. Even if it's just around the block, or in your neighborhood.  You could even to to Elmer Thomas Park and stay the designated 6 feet from other walkers.
  • Breathe.  I learned this lesson when I took my first yoga class.  You have no idea how just breathing (correctly) will help ease the stress of your day
  • Give yourself a time out!  Whether it's just an hour to veg in front of your favorite TV Show, or maybe a lounge chair in the sun.  Just Check out for a few minutes each day to put a new perspective to working/living in the same place.

Whatever you do, make sure that you are taking care of you.  You are an important member of your family, your job, and your society!  Make You a priority!
