Miranda Lambert's reported boyfriend, Turnpike Troubadours frontman Evan Felker, has finalized his divorce from his wife, Staci Felker, according to a new report.

A source tells People that the couple's marriage officially ended earlier this week, saying, “Staci feels free and relieved" now that the situation is resolved.

The news comes just one month after Lambert and Felker, both 34, were photographed for the first time publicly after months of rumors and speculation about their relationship. Photographers for Us Weekly caught the couple together in New York City on July 18, the same night Lambert performed on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

Staci Felker turned to social media at that time to post that she was getting on with her life, months after sources tell People her husband took her by surprise by filing for divorce not long after his band hit the road with Lambert for her Livin' Like Hippies Tour. Sharing a picture of herself getting ready to go horseback riding and looking happy, she wrote, "Said what I needed to say to those I needed to see it and archived the last post, because it doesn’t make me happy or serve me any longer. #movingforward #selfcare #smilingagain #ranchy."

She turned to Instagram again on Friday (Aug. 17), and though she did not confirm the divorce news directly, she posted a photo of herself seated in a porch swing overlooking the water, writing, "Free on the earth."

Evan Felker and the former Staci Nelson wed in September of 2016, and they were married when he began touring with Lambert in January. According to divorce documents filed in district court in Oklahoma County, Okla., and obtained by Taste of Country, she filed for divorce on Feb. 28, 2018, citing "irreconcilable incompatibility which has completely destroyed the legitimate aims of the marriage and rendered its continuation impossible."

A source told Us Weekly in April that Lambert's relationship with Felker "just happened" when Lambert and Felker "started spending a lot more time together while on the road." That source said the romance began before Lambert split with Anderson East, whom she dated for two years after her divorce from Blake Shelton in 2015. Neither Lambert nor Felker has commented publicly on their relationship, and representatives for the singers have declined to comment on their behalf.
