The Pistol Annies serenaded us with their own harmonious take on Elvis Presley's classic "Love Me" on Sunday (Feb. 17).

Their performance was a part of an Elvis All-Star tribute that television network NBC put together to honor Presley's 1968 comeback special, and the trio were eager to give their number all the reverence possible.

Angaleena Presley introduced their performance, saying, "Elvis first cut 'Love Me' for his second album way back in 1956."

Miranda Lambert elaborated, "Elvis sang this song by [famed songwriting pair] Leiber and Stoller on his '68 special and he kept singing it right until his last tour in the summer of 1977."

Ashley Monroe added "We love this song, and hope you love it too. This is for Elvis, who the whole world was loving 50 years ago."

This isn't the first time the Pistol Annies covered the King's tune, as the trio performed "Love Me" at their Los Angeles concert on Nov. 7, 2018 at the Novo. That particular version was more stripped-back, focusing in on their vocals with only one acoustic guitar playing at certain points in the song.

The group's most recent rendition included two acoustic guitars and an upright bass. Their vocals flowed together smoothly and gave the song new life, a new feel, and even moved it into an entirely different genre.

Other artists that performed on the special included: Keith UrbanKelsea BalleriniLittle Big TownDierks BentleyCarrie UnderwoodBlake SheltonDarius Rucker, Alessia Cara, John Legend, Ed Sheeran, John Fogerty, Mac Davis and Adam Lambert.

If you enjoyed their rendition, the covers from all of the artists are available on the Elvis All-Star Tribute album, which you can purchase here. The album also features 15 other Elvis recordings that were remastered.
