Nacho Mama's Food Truck Gets New Permanent Home

Food Trucks are so incredibly popular now. I'm not sure when I had my first experience with food trucks as a dining option, but I'm convinced that there is definitely a place for them in my meal options. My friend Phyllis who lives in Vernon, Texas has invited me several times to the Food Truck Competition that they have every year in Vernon. Who even knew that was a thing?

I've always frequented food trucks at festivals, rodeos, and the state fair park, Critter and I even took a road trip to enjoy the State Fair Food Trucks, even though the actual State Fair had to be postponed due to COVID. It wasn't until recently that I really honed in on food trucks in Lawton. Each Tuesday evening during the Summer months, the Lawton Farmers Market plays host to several food trucks, and the Comanche County Fairgrounds hosts 'Eats and Beats' indoors with food trucks and music once a month during the warm months of the year.

On August 1st, Nacho Mama's will move to their new permanent location at 1806 Nw Ft Sill Blvd in Lawton. They are preparing for their grand opening, but until then you can order by phone and pick it up outside.

It's always a great day when new businesses succeed in Lawton. And there is always room for great authentic Mexican Food.
