National Pie Day – Grab A Slice And Dig In!

Yesterday was National Pie Day.    This day is set aside by the Pie Council of America to celebrate the deliciousness of the food that can be eaten at any time of the day!  Pies have been around for a long time and have been a staple of many family gatherings, church outings or a perfect way to end a date a restaurant to share with some one special.

So why is National Pie Day celebrated on Jan. 23 or 1/23?   According to the Pie Council website, because celebrating the wholesome goodness of pie is as easy as 1-2-3.
