Operation Finally Home To Hold Town Meeting In Lawton

A special town-hall meeting will be held Thursday night at 5p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lawton, so representatives of Operation Finally Home can explain their program to provide homes for military families. The Hilton Garden Inn is located at 135 NW 2nd Street in Downtown Lawton.

Operation Finally Home, which was established in 2005, is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that constructs custom-built, mortgage-free homes to America's military heroes and the widows of the fallen warriors. Their project partners with corporate sponsors, builder associations, builders, developers, individual contributors and volunteers to help families transition to the home front.

The organization is considering several veterans in Southwest Oklahoma for their project, who will receive new mortgage-free homes.
