Pat Green unleashes a torrent of old photographs during his "Drinkin' Days" video. More than a few find a baby-faced singer at the the start of his career. Almost all of them are a little wilder than he may remember.

Watch his official music video for "Drinkin' Days" during this Taste of Country premiere. The song is the first from his next studio album. The acoustic, nostalgic country cut smiles on the younger years, when weekends meant less sleep, not more and late nights crept into early mornings.

"They hurt like a mother but I sure did love 'em," Green sings on his first new song since his Home album in 2015.

"My wife Kori said something the other night that made me grin," Green tells Taste of Country. She said, "When I grow up I want to be me."

"I feel the same way when I see the images from the drinking days video ... They didn't come cheap but I think I earned my memories."

Green's career has spanned over two decades, and he's chosen dozens of pictures from concerts and backstage to represent his "Drinkin' Days." A few look to be from his college days, while others show a more recognizable, 2000s version of the Texan. Fans, old friends, new friends and bandmates helped him create these memories. Now older with a couple kids, the 45-year-old proves he's still able to capture that magic, if only in song.
