Pick-A-Pack Is Giving Away 120 Backpacks To Lawton Kids This August; Here’s How To Donate

Townsquare Media Lawton and SouthWest Buick GMC are giving away 120 backpacks during Pick-A-Pack. Local businesses, organizations or individuals are invited to be a part of Pick-A-Pack by making donations of school supplies or other cool prizes.

Last year, Townsquare Media Lawton and SouthWest Buick GMC gave away 40 backpacks during Pick-A-Pack. The event was so popular that this year, 120 backpacks will be given away. In order to stuff the backpacks full of school supplies and cool prizes, Townsquare Media Lawton is seeking donations for this year's Pick-A-Pack.

Donations of school supplies and cool prizes are being accepted for Pick-A-Pack.

Townsquare Media Lawton is seeking donations of school supplies and cool prizes for Pick-A-Pack now through Wednesday, July 29. Below are examples of items that could be donated:

School Supplies

• Spiral Notebooks
• Glue Bottles & Glue Sticks
• #2 Pencils
• Blunt Scissors & Pointed Scissors
• Supply Boxes
• Washable Makers & Dry Erase Markers
• Folders

Cool Prizes

• Company Branded Swag (pens, pencils, keychains, stickers, etc.)
• Gift Cards (Visa, Walmart, etc.)
• Water Bottles
• Lunch Boxes
• Earbuds (wireless or wired)
• Calculators

Nominations are being accepted for Pick-A-Pack 2026 now through Monday, August 3.

Listeners of KLAW 101, Z94 and 107.3 PopCrush can enter to win free school supplies and other cool prizes now through Monday, August 3. To enter to win, fill out the information below with a parents' contact information, the child's name that will be receiving the backpack and the child's school.

Winners will pick up their backpacks Saturday, August 8, at SouthWest Buick GMC of Lawton, located at 5002 NW Cache Road. Pick-A-Pack will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Winners will need to plan on being at Pick-A-Pack during the entire duration of the event for backpack and prize giveaways. Winners will be contacted via phone and email the week before.
