One of the best pizza places in Lawton was Pizza Time! It was a sad day when they closed their doors in 2018. Now it looks like Pizza Time is making a return in 2026, but unfortunately, not in Lawton.

Pizza Time is one of Lawton's old restaurants residents miss the most. It was located at 1705 NW Cache Rd, which now houses a dispensary. Pizza Time opened in the 1980s, and it was the best place to get pizza for the whole family. It was yummy and affordable!

Pizza Time closed in Lawton in 2018.

Unfortunately, after 32 years in business, Pizza Time announced it closure on Jan. 4, 2018. That left Lawton with one less locally owned pizza place!

Pizza Times announces its reopening.

Over the holidays, Lawton residents who still followed the Pizza Time account on Facebook saw a brand new post. On Dec. 27, Pizza Time announced it would be reopening in 2026!

But unfortunately for Lawton residents, Pizza Time won't be reopening in town. Pizza Time announced that it would be reopening in Tulsa, specifically at 7945 S Memorial Dr.

Pizza Time is set to serve up pizza, pasta and beer to the lucky people of Tulsa.

What old restaurants do you miss in Lawton?

Even though Lawton got a lot of new restaurants in 2025, there are still several old restaurants that we miss! Remember when Lawton had a Del Rancho, Dunkin Donuts and a Schlotzky/s? Aside from chain restaurants, Lawton has also lost several delicious local restaurants, like Leo & Ken's and Big Chef.
