More than 100 people gathered on Saturday at Fuqua Park in Duncan to say goodbye to Damion Davidson, the 8-year old boy who went missing during storms in June and whose body was found a week later in a local creek. It was an emotional day in Duncan, as the public memorial to honor Damion's life and thank everyone who came together to search for him while he was missing.

Several Family members were in attendance at the Gazebo in Fuqua Park, as local residents gathered to thank those involved in Damion's search. The service featured a slide show encompassing the 8-year old's life and was capped off when all in attendance released a balloon into the sky.

The memorial was followed by a bake sale, cookout and silent auction that were held at Halliburton Park. Money from those events will go into a trust fund for Damion's family.
