RaeLynn's debut album WildHorse is off to a great start: The record has nabbed the top spot on Billboard's Country Albums chart in its first week, and debuted in the Top 10 (No. 9) on the all-genre Top Album Sales chart.

Thanks to its high-charting debut week, WildHorse is the highest-charting album release from a female country artists since Maren Morris debuted her first album, Hero, in June of 2016.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me. Having a single that’s in the Top 30 and a No. 1 debut record is a dream come true," RaeLynn says in a press release. "I feel overwhelmingly grateful and honored to be included in the company of the handful of other women who have debuted at No. 1 with their first record.

"The fans who I’ve met over the past five years really showed up for this record. So I share this No. 1 with all of them and my team and country radio," the singer adds. "It’s for all of us. Real music that connects is always gonna win!”

RaeLynn co-wrote 11 of the 12 tracks on WildHorse, which is her first full-length project. The record was produced by Jimmy Robbins and Nicolle Galyon. In RaeLynn's hometown of Houston, Texas, its release day (March 24) was dubbed "RaeLynn Day;" the singer marked the occasion by making her first donation to the new RaeLynn Diabetes Fund at the Texas Children’s Hospital.

This spring, RaeLynn will hit the road on her first headlining tour; the trek is scheduled to begin on April 20. More information about RaeLynn's upcoming tour dates can be found at RaeLynn.com.
