Ray Price ‘Crazy Arms’ KLAW Saturday Classic [VIDEO]

The KLAW Saturday Classic this week goes way back to June 23rd, 1956. That's 56 years ago! It was the first #1 for the legendary Ray Price.

Ray formed the Cherokee Cowboys in 1953. Among it's members in the late 50's and early 60's were Roger Miller, Willie Nelson, Johnny Paycheck, Darrell McCall and Johnny Bush. The amazing thing about Ray Price is, even today at age 86 he continues to record and tour. Our featured classic, 'Crazy Arms', was #1 for an incredible 20 weeks in  '56 and introduced the world to the patented 'Ray Price Shuffle' sound that was and is his signature.
