Reba McEntire Opens Reba’s Place in Atoka, Oklahoma
Oklahoma country music legend Reba McEntire has opened a new restaurant in Atoka, Oklahoma! The restaurant recently opened and celebrated yesterday (January 26) with a grand opening event, which featured a performance from Reba herself!
Reba's Place is a "combination restaurant, bar, live music and retail store brought to life by country music superstar Reba McEntire," according to the official website. Reba was born in McAlester, Oklahoma, but was raised on a family ranch in Chockie, Oklahoma. Her music career began after she was discovered while singing the "Star Spangled Banner" at the National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City.
About Reba's Place
Reba's Place is located in a remodeled two-story century old Masonic Temple in downtown Atoka. The dining space features an open central stage where live music will regularly be played. The menu consists of Oklahoma favorites along with flavors from Nashville, New Orleans and Mexico. Diners can enjoy the "Fancy" steak dinner along with street tacos, chicken fried steak and Reba's (and mine!) personal favorite, pinto beans and corn bread. YUM!
The restaurant decor was inspired by Reba's Oklahoma heritage and includes a curated collection of memorabilia from her personal archives, which will be regularly changed out so multiple visits is a must! You can also shop at the restaurant's retail space, which features exclusive merch.
