Lawton’s Restaurant Scene Is Heating Up With New Openings

It has been an exciting year for restaurant news in Lawton! As we reach the end of 2025, Lawton residents may be enjoying some new restaurants before they ring in the new year. It's anticipated that Lawton will have three new eateries opening before the end of 2025, including Taco Casa, Hatch, Peach Cobbler Factory and a second Chick-fil-A location.

Both Taco Casa and Chick-fil-A announced earlier this year that they would be opening locations in Lawton by the end of the year. But Hatch and the Peach Cobbler Factory have been in the works for some time, and based on their locations, it's looking like both are getting close to opening.

Taco Casa will open its first location in Lawton.

In April, Taco Casa Texoma started hinting at a new location opening on its Facebook page. Luckily, Lawton was the correct answer. And on July 30, the official location was revealed 6201 NW Cache Road and is set to be open later this year.

Chick-fil-A plans to open its second location in Lawton.

Its been a few years since Lawton has had two Chick-fil-A locations. After the Chick-fil-A in Central Plaza closed in 2021, Lawton residents were left with one location on Cache Road. But earlier this year, Chick-fil-A announced that they are opening a second location on the west side of Lawton on 82nd Street. This second Chick-fil-A location is also anticipated to open later this year.

Progress is being made on the Hatch location in Lawton.

It was announced in 2022 that Hatch Early Mood Food would open a location in Lawton. It was set to open in 2023, but as of August 15, 2025, it has yet to open. But if you've driven by the location on 2nd Street, you'll see that construction has ramped up again and there are signs saying that Hatch is coming soon!

Construction is ramping up on the Peach Cobbler Factory in Lawton.

In 2024, Lawton residents learned that a Peach Cobbler Factory location would be coming to town. There hasn't been any information about where the dessert shop would be location and when it will open, but recently, residents have noticed signs going up and construction being done to the old Taco Mayo location in Cache Road Square. By the looks of it, the Peach Cobbler Factory may be open by the end of 2025!
