This Is the Best Ham Sandwich In Oklahoma

Oklahoma has some of the best roadside attractions, most of which involve delicious food. And maybe one of the more unique roadside food attractions in Oklahoma is Robertson's Ham, which serves up one of the best ham sandwiches travelers have ever had.

Robertson's Ham is located in Marietta, Oklahoma, and has been serving locally cured meats since 1946. Signs for Robertson's Ham can be seen along I-35, specifically advertising their ham sandwich. Robertson's Ham started advertising their business on highway billboards in the 1950s. But when the 1960s brought in I-35, business began booming for Robertson's Ham, especially during the holiday traffic season.

Since then, the business has expanded adding beef jerky, cheeses, etc. The company store is located in Marietta but there are four other franchise locations in Oklahoma and Texas.

If you're traveling down I-35 and looking for something to eat, you'll definitely want to stop at Robertson's Ham for the ham sandwich. One Oklahoman who frequents I-35 finally made the stop and documented their ham sandwich experience.

The TikTok account @eatoutwithjason recently posted their experience with Robertson's Ham and their review of their ham sandwich, which they said "will leave you with a smile."

They presented the sandwich as a "basic ham sandwich" with bun, meat and cheese. On the sandwich is ham, sausage and pepper jack cheese - that's it. They were speechless when they tried the ham sandwich and after a few more bites said "that is so good," and, "that is definitely the best ham I've ever had on a ham sandwich."
