Many southwest Oklahoma residents have undoubtably seen a social media ad for the Serial Killer Speakeasy coming to Lawton. It's not one of the area's standard events, so it has had many people asking, "is this event real or a scam?" Well, if you're a true crime fan, you'll be happy to know that the event is in fact real, and is coming to the Lawton area on August 14 and 15.

We reached out to the event's producers, Midnight Creative, and they confirmed that the Serial Killer Speakeasy coming to Lawton is 100 percent real. The immersive experience will have multiple showings August 14 and 15 at the Medicine Park Music Hall in Medicine Park.

The Serial Killer Speakeasy will tell the stories of four infamous serial killers paired with inspired cocktails.

The stop in Medicine Park is one of the many showings of the theatrical cocktail experience. On Friday, August 14, and Saturday, August 15, true crime fans in southwest Oklahoma can experience a 90-minute immersive retelling of crimes from four of America's most infamous serial killers.

Actors will portray Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy and Ed Gein, and tell their stories from the killer's perspective. Each performance will be paired with a themed cocktail.

  • Jeffrey Dahmer - Paired with Apartment Two One Three
  • John Wayne Gacy - Paired with the Killer Clowns
  • Ed Gein - Pair with Gein's Cauldron

Mocktails are available for attendees upon request.

The Serial Killer Speakeasy will host seven showings August 14 and 15 in Medicine Park.

Tickets are available for $55 to $80, ranging from general admission to VIP front row. However, most VIP front row tickets are sold out. Tickets can be purchased online through Fever. More information about the Serial Killer Speakeasy is available on the experience's official Facebook page.
