Many of you know that I am not on the air this week, as I travel to Ft. Benning, Georgia to watch my Soldier, Tyler Chouinard graduate from Basic Training/AIT.  It's a long drive,  over 15 hours in fact, but my road warriors and I came up with a great way to pass the time.  We looked for songs for the towns that we passed through.

First up Checotah, Oklahoma home to Country sensation Carrie Underwood.  She even sang a song about her hometown.

The next big town that we could find a song for was Little Rock.  Try as we might we couldn't find the original by Lee Greenwood, but we did find one from fellow Oklahoman, Reba McEntire.

And we even found a bonus Little Rock song.  Do you remember Colin Raye's "Little Rock"?

The closer we got to our first day destination, we had to play our favorite Memphis song from Pam Tillis, "Maybe it was Memphis".

I hope you enjoy the songs from the road.  What other City Songs do you love?
