
Cycling And Running Events Return For Spirit Of Survival 2026
Lawton's annual Spirit of Survival has set its 2026 dates for Oct. 3 and 4. This year's event will feature cycling, running and walking events.
On Tuesday, June 23, Spirit of Survival officially announced the 2026 dates and events. This year's Spirit of Survival will be hosted by the Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma and the Major Taylor Cycling Club. The annual event will continue to raise funds for the Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma.
Spirit of Survival will host cycling events on Saturday, Oct. 3 and running/walking events on Sunday, Oct. 4.
The first weekend in October will feature various cycling and running events for Spirit of Survival. All cycling events will take place on Saturday, Oct. 3, with all running and walking events on Sunday, Oct. 4.

Saturday, Oct. 3
- 8 a.m. - Bike Tour
- 14 Miles
- 27 Miles
- 52 Miles
- 64 Miles
- 8:30 a.m. - Children's Fun Ride
Sunday, Oct. 4
- 7:30 a.m. - 5K Run/Walk
- 1 p.m. - Spirit Walk
- 2-3 p.m. - Bubble Run
All running and walking events will take place at the Cancer Centers of Southwest Oklahoma in Lawton. Routes for the bike tour are to be announced.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Spirit of Survival.
Those wishing to participate in the 2026 Spirit of Survival can now register online. Registration costs range from $15 to $60.
- $15 - Kid Entry for Bubble Run
- $15 - Children's Bike Ride
- $20 - Spirit Walk
- $20 - Adult Entry for Bubble Run
- $35 - 5K
- $45 - Bike Tour (14, 27, 52, and 64 Miles)
- $60 - Bike Tour with 5K
