Ah, my old friend, the James Bond rumor. No franchise has produced as many questions about the state of its current cast as the unnamed Bond sequel. Will Daniel Craig be returning to the role? Definitely not. Or, wait, probably. No, they’re actually casting a new James Bond as we speak. Scratch that, they’ve actually backed a dump truck full of money onto Craig’s front lawn to get him back. Or they’ll probably go in a different direction.

The fate of James Bond’s casting in the upcoming 25th official 007 adventure is the focus of more intrigue than many Bond movies. After the release of Spectre, Daniel Craig said things like “I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists” when the subject of making a fifth Bond film came up. He wanted to move on he said. He was ready for something else

Daniel Craig has made no secret that he wants to exit the 007 franchise, and if it were up to him, Spectre would have been his last outing as James Bond. During the press tour for the 24th Bond film, Craig was pretty blunt about his desire to leave the franchise behind, suggesting that he’d rather slit his wrists than play 007 again. It’s not entirely up to Craig, though, but according to his best pal and fellow actor Mark Strong, he might be done with the franchise. Or not. Who knows.

This week we celebrate the birth of arguably one of the best actors to ever portray the famous secret agent James Bond.  I say one because over the years 6 actors have stepped into those 'gadget modified' shoes.

While promoting Spectre, Daniel Craig has been asked so much about whether or not he will play James Bond again that he rather slit his wrists than think of the possibility. In a recent interview with Time Out London, Craig was asked yet again if he’ll return to 007.

It’s finally here: the first teaser trailer for Spectre, the next installment in the James Bond franchise. After months of set photos and teases, we have our first legitimate look at the new 007 film, which promises to reveal some dark secrets Daniel Craig’s Bond has been hiding for years and years, as well as the shadowy figure that has something to do with it.

Unlike the super secrecy of Star Wars: Episode 7 or Marvel, Spectre has been surprisingly forthcoming, especially for a movie that's all about secrets. So far, in just a relatively short amount of filming time, we've had two video blogs updating with news the set and today we already have a Spectre poster.

As Spectre continues filming, we are treated today to another dispatch from the Bond 24 set. The last video blog focused on the snowy shoot on the top of the Austrian mountains and this new installment features new behind the scenes footage of Daniel Craig as James Bond as well as Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Moneypenny), and Ben Whishaw (Q).

‘Spectre’, the upcoming 24th James Bond movie, is currently filming in Austria where it is probably as cold and snowy as wherever you are right now (damn you, Polar Vortex!). The cast and crew took some time out to update 007 fans on the progress of the upcoming film with a video blog on what they're currently shooting, which they promise manages to top even ‘Skyfall’.

With ‘Casino Royale’, ‘Quantum of Solace’ and ‘Skyfall’, the Daniel Craig era of the James Bond movies has been the most successful films of the entire franchise on both a critical and commercial level. That's pretty good for an actor a lot of Bond fans hated when he was originally cast (The Daily Mirror in London ran the headline “The Name's Bland. James Bland.”). After much speculation, the official title and cast of 'Bond 24' was announced earlier this morning in London by director Sam Mendes. New castmembers—joining returning stars Daniel Craig, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Ralph Fiennes—include Christoph Waltz, Andrew Scott, Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci, and Léa Seydoux. But, why read about this when you can watch it?

It’s no secret that Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz has been cast as the main villain in the next James Bond adventure (which we’re all just calling ‘Bond 24’ for the moment). However, the exact nature of the role may have been revealed and, if it’s true, 007 fans all over the world will rejoice. Yes, it’s exactly what you think it is: Waltz may be playing Bond’s old arch-nemesis, Ernst Stravo Blofeld.
