The Washington Post just published a poll that ranked the Shark from Jaws as receiving a more favorable rating than all of the potential candidates for the 2016 election.
It should come as no surprise that Warner Bros. is planning to resurrect The Fugitive in some capacity. After all, a major film studio returning to the well of the comfortably familiar for a remake or a reboot (or a reboot of a remake) is pretty par for the course these days. What makes this news ever-so-slightly interesting is the suggestion that this may be a continuation of some kind, featuring the same characters that Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones played in the iconic 1993 film.
There’s a running joke in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade that Indy took his nickname from the family dog. That joke has some truth to it though because as George Lucas was developing Raiders of the Lost Ark, he actually named the character after his dog, Jones (the “Indiana” was a riff on Steve McQueen character Nevada Smith). Coincidentally, the same dog was the inspiration for Chewbacca in Star Wars. Need more Raiders of the Lost Ark facts? This is absolutely harrowing news: iconic actor and living legend Harrison Ford has been critically injured in a plane crash. The plane crash-landed in Venice, California today and Ford was subsequently rushed to the hospital where his condition is currently critical. Ford, who’s been reprising his role in the new series of Star Wars films and recently signed on for the long-gestating Blade Runner sequel, is 72 years old—making his enduring dedication to these franchises even more remarkable.
For awhile there, it looked like 'Star Wars: Episode 7' was in trouble. Harrison Ford had broken his leg in a freak Millennium Falcon accident and there were rumors that the production was going to be shut down for weeks! Months! Forever!!! And then Harrison Ford got better and the only real damage to the schedule was a two-week break where everyone made ice bucket challenge videos and refused to answer questions to prying reporters on red carpets.
And now, 'Star Wars: Episode 7' has officially resumed filming.
If you're looking for any kind of plot details in the final 'Expendables 3' trailer, you're probably going to be left wanting. This short-but-sweet preview is all about things that go boom, whether they be cars, buildings, boats or people. However, if your idea of a good trailer involves Harrison Ford laughing maniacally while firing missiles from his helicopter, you're probably in for a treat.
Last week, the internet couldn't stop talking about Harrison Ford's 'Star Wars: Episode 7' injury. Oh, the jokes! Oh, the memes! There's a certain amount of comedy to be found in an elderly Han Solo injuring his ankle thanks to the door of the Millennium Falcon. But now is the time to quit with the laughter: Ford's injury, while certainly not life-threatening, is bad enough that he won't be able to return to the set for eight weeks.
Harrison Ford is getting too old for this.
The 71-year-old actor, now famous for his "I'm over it" approach to various situations, including those raving 'Star Wars' fans, was sent to a hospital after injuring his ankle today while filming scenes for 'Star Wars: Episode 7.'
The primary cast of the original 'Star Wars' trilogy have all but guaranteed they'll be showing up in the J.J. Abrams-directed 'Star Wars: Episode 7,' though there was a question if Harrison Ford would return. The latest report is that not only will Ford be back, he may be in for all three films in the new trilogy. And supposedly part of the deal to get Han Solo to return involves work starting on
Harrison Ford was a guest on last night's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' to promote his movie '42' and naturally the discussion came around to 'Star Wars: Episode 7' and the future of the franchise. Ford tried to stay mum and say he couldn't talk about anything 'Star Wars,' but when he agreed to some questions from the audience, things got heated and Ford walked off the set. We are in an election year, and even if you lived under a rock, you wouldn't be able to avoid that fact. Wouldn't it be nice if some of our favorite Movie Presidents were actually running for President?
