Ted Nugent to Auction Some of His ‘Coolest Stuff’ in Texas
It sounds like a trip to Waco may be in order, because the legendary Ted Nugent is doing a little “Gonzo Spring Cleaning.”
The Motor City Madman will be auctioning guns, guitars and hot rods during an auction presented by the Burley Auction Gallery on Saturday, March 27. The auction will be held at Tucker Hall near Speegleville, starting at 10:00 am.
KWTX reports that Uncle Ted will be auctioning off some very rare, vintage guitars including 1958 and 1959 Gibson Les Pauls, a 1956 Fender Stratocaster, an early Paul Reed Smith prototype and a lot more.
There will also be over 200 guns and bow hunting equipment from his collection up for auction.
As far as hot rods go, Ted’s fully restored 1968 Ford Bronco and a 2015 Dodge Hellcat Challenger will be up for bid.
Ted’s not completely cleaning house, though. Instead, he says it’s time to “streamline” things a bit:
My outrageous, adventurous lifetime has accumulated way too much stuff that anybody could reasonably put to use...I am simply streamlining my life’s accumulation but keeping my favorite hundred guns, my favorite 50 guitars and most of my fire-breathing trucks and hot rods! A Gonzo Spring cleaning if you will.
If you’re interested in attending, be sure to sign up sooner rather than later, because seating is limited and reservations are required. Head to www.burleyauction.com for more information. People will also be able to submit bids online or over the phone and absentee bids will be allowed as well.
