Today’s KLAW Classic is from Deana Carter – Strawberry Wine [VIDEO]

Strawberry Wine is the signature song for Deana Carter and song writer Matraca Berg, but the song very nearly didn't get recorded.

Berg shopped the song around Nashville, but many thought it was too long and too controversial.  Enter Deana Carter.  It was the lead off single from her 'Did I Shave My Legs for This?', and her most successful single over all.  From 1995, here's today's KLAW Classic.
