Remembering Ladies Night Out 2017

The Townsquare Media 14th Annual Ladies Night Out Event was an extravaganza to remember. The fashion was chic; the food was delish; and the entertainment was lit! Ladies Night Out 2017 marked another successful year of celebrating this annual event with the beautiful ladies, and a handful of handsome gentlemen as well, from the Lawton/Fort Sill community.

The Vendors

The vendors that participate each year deliver remarkable products, excellent deals and fabulous giveaways for the participants of Ladies Night Out, and as always, this year the vendors did not disappoint. The various selection of goods and services each of the businesses offered gave attendees the chance to shop throughout the night. The Hilton Garden Inn provided the perfect ambiance for the celebration, and the buffet style menu they provided was simple, creative & quite delicious. Everyone who came out to eat, shop and party with Townsquare Media really had an incredible time!

The Fashion Show

For the fashion show portion of the night, Dillard’s provided the latest most chic & trendy apparel available in their store, from various new fall collections. Strutting the runway were some of the most sophisticated and talented women in this city.

The beautiful ladies of KSWO News, Alpha Phi - Theta Rho, and LHS JROTC all graced the catwalk with their stylish presence. The Glam Squad from Elite Academy did an incredible job on hair and make-up. These ladies proved they are ready for the high-paced, high-pressure world of not just runway and entertainment, but of any area of this profession they choose to venture into.

The Entertainment

To say that Michael Hix & The Holla were the highlight of the night would be an understatement. The band rocked the crowd with selections from various musical genres and had everyone in the room on their feet dancing and singing along the entire night. These guys are consummate professionals. We were treated to a real surprise when the beautiful and talented Ginny Hix hit the stage to perform and show everyone that The Holla doesn’t just perform for the ladies, they represent for the ladies too. And Michael Hix, what can I say… Not only is he a top-notch entertainer, but he’s an all-around great guy as well. Keep your eyes open because he is destined to be a huge Hollywood success!

It’s taken a little bit to wind-down from all the preparation, excitement and execution of that night. The event took months of hard work & strategic planning, but in the end, the smiling faces and satisfied guests proved it was all worth it. The night was an extravaganza to remember! I look forward to seeing everyone next year at Ladies Night Out 2018.
