Lawton residents looking for a thrill this spooky season can make plans to visit the Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park opening on Friday, Oct. 2. The Trail of Fear will offer 13 nights of terror this October, including a new attraction, Section 13.

The Trail of Fear is Lawton's premiere haunted scream park that attracts locals and thrill-seekers from across Oklahoma. This year the Trail of Fear will offer three attractions, plus a new VIP experience.

Trail of Fear's Attraction

New this year at Lawton's Trail of Fear will be Section 13. According to the website, in Section 13, an unknown virus has broken out and visitors entering Section 13 are the last survivors. Visitors will have to navigate a black-lit attraction riddled with mutated madness, disorientating effects and subhuman creatures.

The Trail of Fear's Hackensaw Haunted Hay Ride will run one final year. Attendees will visit the Hackensaw clan's compound one last time to escape before becoming their final meal.

Updates have been made to the Trail of Fear's Twisty's Haunted Midway. At this carnival-style Midway, visitors can play GellyBall, axe throwing, severed head toss, and more. While playing games for prizes and competing with friends, visitors can also enjoy food, drinks and entertainment.
