On Friday (March 17), rising singer-songwriters Walker Hayes and Filmore will be performing in Austin, Texas, at Townsquare HQ, as part of a free, all-ages showcase.

Hayes and Filmore's sets, presented by The Boot's partner site Taste of Country, will take place at downtown Austin's Sunset Room -- temporarily known on March 17 and 18 as Townsquare HQ. The venue is located at 310 E. 3rd St., on the corner of Trinity Street, directly across the street from the Austin Convention Center. Doors will open at 3PM; Filmore will take the stage at 4PM, while Walker Hayes will perform at 5PM.

In 2016, Filmore released a seven-song project titled Proof; he also recently released a music video for his song “Unreal.” Hayes dropped his debut full-length disc, Reason to Rhyme, in 2013; his current single is “You Broke Up With Me."

While Filmore and Hayes are playing inside, Townsquare HQ will also be hosting the Mike's Hard Watermelon Patio outside. There, concertgoers can rest and recharge while enjoying food trucks and a full bar, including complimentary bottles of Mike’s Hard Watermelon Lemonade.

Fans interested in attending Hayes and Filmore's sets can RSVP at TasteOfCountry.com.

In addition to the Taste of Country-curated shows, on Friday night and throughout the day on Saturday (March 18), Townsquare HQ will host rock-oriented sets presented by The Boot's partners Loudwire and CLRVYNT.
