Several Lawton residents commented their love of the drink and their memories of celebrating Valentine's Day at Wayne's with a Love Potion No. 9.

One commenter said their husband would takes them to Wayne's every Valentine's Day to get a Love Potion No. 9. They stated that when they were dating, their now husband took them to Wayne's to get their first ever Love Potion No. 9 on their first Valentine's Day together.

Other commenters boasted about how the Love Potion No. 9 is their favorite drink at Wayne's, even when it's not Valentine's Day!

What is a Love Potion No. 9?

Love Potion No. 9 is actually a popular cocktail, but, of course, Wayne's serves the drink without alcohol. It's a reddish, pink drink with a fruity flavor profile mixed with lemon lime soda.

We're not certain, but the drink may be named after the song "Love Potion Number 9" recorded by The Clovers in 1959. The song has been covered by many artists over the years.
