Jeri and Seth have the greatest jobs in the world. As the Morning Crew, we get up, drink coffee and play music for you in the morning. We get to hear new music before any one else and we get to talk to some of the greatest listeners in the world.

Every morning we get to sing a long to the greatest music in the world, country music. But Jeri & I do have varying musical tastes (she likes George Strait and I am more of a Jamie Johnson or Chris Stapleton guy), and while we listen to a lot of the same things, what we really prefer to listen to in the car or at home are often vastly different.

So we decided to put together our own personal playlists, based on what we are playing now on KLAW101 and our own personal tastes, and then each share 5 or so of these songs with you every now and then. Of course these lists will be ever changing with new music being released and current music fading away. We want to know what you think of our favorites, so we're giving our listeners a chance to vote for your favorite of our favorites.

We have posted all of our favorites in audio form so, we get a true vote on the music. Please listen to the ones you might not be quite so familiar with and let us know which of our favorites are your favorites. We will be visiting this idea every now and then, just to get a good feel of what music is hitting home with our listeners. The poll will be open until Monday, April 10th at Midnight, and you are limited to one vote per day.

Enjoy!

  • Darius Rucker - "If I Told You"

Darius Rucker has a voice that is immediately recognizable. When his latest single was released, we knew it was one of those songs that while it may take a while to climb the charts, it would be one we would never grow tired of. This is definitely one song we can listen to every day.

  • Tim McGraw & Faith Hill - "Speak To A Girl"

The Royal Family of Modern Country music, Tim & Faith have recently announced their very first album collaboration, the third installment of the Soul2Soul tour and have released a brand new single that is taking country radio by storm. Not a bad start for 2017.

  • Trent Harmon - "There's A Girl"

The winner of the 15th and final season of American Idol is basically telling us something we already knew: guys will do just about anything for a woman. But he does it in such a way that you are generally thanking him for educating you. An incredible debut single that makes you anxious to hear what comes next from this newcomer.

  • Keith Urban & Carrie Underwood - "The Fighter"

How can you go wrong putting two of the top artists in country music together, throwing in a snappy beat and some incredible guitar playing to go along with it?

Its a pretty good game plan, especially when the two artists are Carrie Underwood & Keith Urban.

  • Brett Young - "In Case You Didn't Know"

Former college baseball standout Brett Young may be the only pitcher in history whose career opportunities actually improved after an arm injury. The second single from one of the strongest debut albums of 2017 has been on our playlist for quite some time and is still going strong towards #1.

  • Chris Lane - "For Her"

Much like with Trent Harmon, Chris Lane is letting us know that guys will go to no lengths to impress, take care of and pamper their ladies. Chris Lane lets us know that after all, what is the world about, if not "For Her".

  • Luke Combs - "Hurricane"

Luke Combs is not your every day, cookie cutter, modern country singer. Cut from a different mold, he lets the music do the talking, and what a great story it tells. With his debut single "Hurricane", Combs lets her know all about the tropical storm she set a tropical storm in his heart, and the damage that was done.

Another debut single that has made us anxious to see what comes next from this good ol' boy.

  • Maren Morris - "I Could Use A Love Song"

Going into 2016, few people had heard of Texas singer and songwriter Maren Morris. Now she is a Grammy, ACM and CMA award winner. Her major label debut album Hero has been certified gold and features two top-10 singles.

The third single from the album is on both of our playlists and has us looking forward to her performing at the annual Ft. Sill Fourth of July Concert.

  • Michael Ray - "Think A Little Less"

A former #1 single, Michael Ray has found success with this tune, co-written by Thomas Rhett. It's the second #1 hit for Ray, a former protege of John Rich and winner of the TV competition The Next: Fame Is On Your Doorstep.

It looks like country music success has found Mr. Ray's doorstep.

  • Zac Brown Band - "My Old Man"

If this song does not shoot to the top of the country charts for Father's Day, something is currently wrong with the current state of country music. A group and a leader that has proved that nothing is impossible for them, the Zac Brown Band has returned to its country roots for its next album, evidenced by the lead single.
