
Here’s the Fascinating Story Behind the World’s Most Famous Desktop Wallpaper
It's one of the world's most famous images, but did you know it's actually real?
The wallpaper known as Bliss has been a fixture of Windows XP for 13 years, but Microsoft will no longer support Windows XP. That means the end of the iconic picture of the lush green hills, blue sky and white clouds.
Amazingly, that legendary picture is real and was taken north of San Francisco -- and, no, it wasn't Photoshopped. Charles O'Rear is the photographer behind the shot and talks about it in this video.
