World’s Oldest Couple Marries After 30-Year Wait

About 30 years ago, Rose Pollard -- now 90 -- was proposed to by her ballroom dancing partner, Forrest Lunway. Instead of saying yes, though, Pollard told Lunway that she'd marry him only after he hit the big 100.

That day finally came on March 19, and believe it or not, Pollard stuck to her word. With the help of staff at the senior center at which they live, Pollard planned a birthday party/surprise marriage ceremony.

At 100 and 90 years old, respectively, the couple have made it into the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest couple ever to tie the knot.
