One of the newest restaurants coming to Lawton is Zarley's Subz & Ice Cream at 2323 W Gore Blvd. And Zarley's has officially confirmed that the Lawton location is set to open sometime in early September.

Earlier this summer, Lawton residents driving down Gore Boulevard started noticing construction and signs for Zarley's at the old Chamillion Flavors Hawaiian Shaved Ice location. All of the signs have said that a Zarley's is "coming soon," and residents have been wondering when they'll get to try the subs and ice cream.

Zarley's Suz & Ice Cream plans to open its Lawton location in September.

We reached out to Zarley's to confirm an opening date for the new Lawton location, and we were told they are aiming to open sometime between Sept. 1-15. So it looks like Lawton residents will get to enjoy Zarley's fresh, made-to-order subs and ice cream treats just in time for fall.

Luckily, it's still hot in Oklahoma by the time September arrives. Maybe Zarley's will have a pumpkin spice flavored ice cream.

Zarley's opened its first location in Sapulpa one year ago.

Zarley's is a fairly new Oklahoma-owned eatery. The first Zarley's location was opened in Sapulpa in August 2025. The second location quickly followed in Tulsa. The Lawton location is set to be Zarley's third location and the first outside of northeast Oklahoma.

Zarley's serves fresh subs, ice cream treats and even coffee and smoothies. It will definitely be a unique addition to Lawton's restaurant scene when it opens this September.

For more information about Zarley's, visit the restaurant's official website or follow the official Facebook page.

Oklahoma's Best Burgers

That may be a misleading title. With something so subjective to the individual, how can we universally declare any burger the "best" in Oklahoma? So maybe we should just call this a list of great burgers across the Sooner State.
