During Marvel Studio's big presentation at Comic-Con 2014, nearly the entire 'Avengers 2' cast came out on the Hall H stage to tease their next big battle and screen the first footage for the fans. But what the audience didn't see was all the post-action. The stars came out to chat with press about all things Ultron, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, the post-'Winter Soldier' S.H.I.E.L.D., and what each character is up to in this brave new world.

While Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) was present but unavailable to us, and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) did not attend the Con, we spoke with Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Paul Bettany (The Vision), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), as they stared down the hordes of press shoving mics in their faces.

The 'Avengers 2' sees the most powerful villain Marvel's superhero team has ever faced (so far), Ultron, attempt to wipe out humanity. After Nick Fury disbanded S.H.I.E.L.D. in 'Captain America 2,' The Avengers are now weary of battle and Stark attempts to create a new generation of defense tech -- Ultron and his robotic Legionnaires. Things turn sour when Ultron goes rogue and, aided by his own creation, The Vision, and "The Twins" Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, he attempts to save humans from themselves in the most gruesome way possible.

'Avengers 2' hits theaters on May 1, 2015, but you can get all the juicy details from Comic-Con 2014 in the videos above and below.
