The Oldest Restaurant in Lawton – Bianco’s – is Closing Down This Week

After delivering 60 years of Italian cuisine to the Lawton community Bianco’s Italian Restaurant is closing at the end of the week and if you want to get your hands on their famous garlic salad dressing then you better hurry and make that call.

People have been pouring in all over to eat at this fine local restaurant one last time before the doors shut for good on Thursday. On Friday Bianco’s will hold a fundraiser dinner for their long time staff. The night is reservation only and will have four seatings: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., 2-4 p.m, 5-7 p.m. and 8-10 p.m.

The restaurant states that due to the overwhelming response to the closing they will only be serving by reservation only and that no items will be available for take-out with the exception of their dressing which is only available by advance order.

As we can remember Bianco’s has been a place where we took our kids after every football game, prom dates, just dates. That’s where our parents took us after we returned home that first summer after we went away to college.

'My high school boyfriend used to take me there on Friday night for pizza,' Jeri Anderson said. 'It was awesome. Great memories.'

To our community Bianco's is not just a restaurant but a longtime family friend that we will always cherish and remember.
