Its Unsigned/Indy Artist Thursday and today we feature a local singer who is a third generation local country singer. The daughter of singer/songwriter Chris Caldwell and the granddaughter of local legend Billy Arnold, today's spotlight artist is a singer with her feet planted firmly in country music.

Adrianne Caldwell performs sporadically the Lawton area, but when the chance came to her to record a song written by her father, and add to it that it was for a cause, she was right there. Her father, Chris Caldwell had been working on a project to help raise money for children's charities and was looking for the perfect voice to record the album's title track, and low and behold it was right in front of him all along.

Caldwell's project was a collection of song's he had himself written, and they were performed by family members and local performers, all looking to make a difference. The money raised by the cd will be donated to the Toby Keith Foundation's OK Kids Korral. The cd sells for $10.00 and is available at Cructchers For The West locations in Lawton and Duncan, Toby Keith's Big Dog Daddy's Ice House, Phil Sampson's Guitars, Tener's Western Wear, Ruben's Shoes, Phillips Music Company, Freedom Fitness, Jerry's Music Emporium, VFW post 5263 and Terry Allen's Guitar Bar. It's available online on iTunes and at chriscaldwellmusic.com.

From that benefit CD comes our spotlight song today. Adriane Caldwell and "Life Goes On", is your Unsigned/Indy Artist Thursday Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but it will do a lot of good to hear it again.
