Today, for Unsigned/Indy Artist Thursday, we will turn the spotlight on a local band that has gone through some changes over the past couple years, but has come away stronger.
Jackson Tillman was formed in 2014 in Oklahoma. The name Jackson Tillman was derived from the counties the members hail from, Jackson and Tillman Counties in Oklahoma. Quickly realizing the music chemistry was right, the group started combining songs and playing shows together.
Jackson Tillman is based out of the Edmond/Oklahoma City area, they are ever in search of a good time in need of some good ol' Texas Red Dirt to at to the party.
Currently in the studio working on their first album, the band's debut single was released October 15th and it is our feature today. Jackson Tillman and "Remedy" is the Unsigned/Indy Artist Thursday Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
