Its Unsigned/Indy Artist Thursday at the Catch of the Day and today we introduce to an Indy artist from the great state of Virginia, who has toured the country and opened for some of the biggest names in country and rock music.

Jeremy Harrell hales from Chesapeake, VA. Best described as alternative country, Jeremy's distinct raspy, soulful balances with his incredible abilities on the acoustic guitar, sure can tell a story.

In 2014, Harrell debuted "Remember When" on social media creating a buzz, quickly gaining a loyal following that spans across the United States, Canada and into the UK. The song has received a great response from XRP Radio (UK based internet radio station) and their listeners. Later in the year, Jeremy was nominated for the Song of the Year Award by 'The Public Blogger' for his song "Walk On". He was the only independent country artist nominated for this award.

Jeremy regularly performs across Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic and north east regions, including a recent performance at The Artistree Festival in Norfolk, VA. Jeremy has also performed on larger tours, including as the opening act for major acts like REO Speedwagon and Ted Nugent in May 2012.

On January 7, 2015 Jeremy signed a 3 year distribution deal with WMG Distribution that will put his music in just about every country around the world. His first single "Remember When" will soon be available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon MP3 and many more on-line stores, but today you get it as your Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
